Parker

Parker is a handsome 9-year-old gelding standing 16hh, with a big personality and an even bigger heart! Surrendered through no fault of his own, this boy is looking for a special home where he can thrive.

Parker is intelligent, engaging, and full of character! He is green broke, walks, trots and canters on the line, and will need a confident, experienced handler with a soft approach to continue his training. He loves attention, enjoys being groomed, stands beautifully for the farrier, and never misses an opportunity for a treat!

Recently, we had Parker X-rayed after noticing something wasn't quite right with his movement. Unfortunately, he was diagnosed with arthritis in his right hind hock and front pastern. Our vet feels he should be suitable for light trail riding, although ongoing maintenance and management will be necessary to keep him comfortable.

Parker has so much personality and love to give! We're looking for someone who understands his limitations, appreciates his zest for life, and is happy to enjoy him as a light riding partner and lifelong companion.
