Reba ~ Adoption Pending

Reba arrived at Second Chance Cheekye Ranch in 2022 with her foal, Tansy (now adopted), she was a picture of uncertainty—fearful of halters, wary of touch, and unsure of the world around her. But beneath her hesitance was a spark waiting to ignite.

Now, in the summer of 2024, Reba has blossomed into a truly special mare. This striking 14hh chestnut beauty has discovered a love for exploring the property on long walks, her cautious nature giving way to curiosity. She stands quietly for grooming sessions, soaking up the attention, and is currently in groundwork training and under saddle 2-3 times a week to build her confidence and hone her skills. She loves doing our obstacle course , both in hand and under saddle!

Reba is up-to-date on vaccinations and boasts elegant, fluid movement that promises excellence in any discipline. She’s searching for a compassionate, experienced adopter who will continue to nurture her trust and unlock her full potential. Reba’s story is one of transformation—are you the one to write her next chapter?
